Things You'll Need:
- 1 or 2 inch barrel curling iron
- Flat iron for bangs
- Hairspray

Steps:
1. Wash your hair like you normally would, blow dry it, know you the whole 9 yards.
2. After your hair has been thoroughly washed and dryed, heat up your 1 or 2 inch curling iron. If you have extremely thick hair turn it up to it's max heat setting (if it has one), and if you have extremely thin hair don't set to the max heat setting (set it somewhere in the middle).
3. Pull half of your hair up into a clip or a bun (like you would if you were doing a half ponytail).
4. When your iron is heated up, take 1 inch sections of hair and wrap it around the barrel away from your face. What you don't want to do is clasp the hair at the bottom and roll up, because this will create very defined looking spirals and that's not what you want. Simply take the strand and wrap it around, not using the clasp, and hold it there.
5. Hold the hair their for about 7-10 seconds and let go of the strand off the iron.
6. Do this for the entire bottom half.
7. You are going to do the same thing for the top half except you are only going to curl 3/4 of the strand. Meaning, don't go all the way up to the root of your hair.
8. Once your hair is completely curled (except your bangs), take your flat iron and straighten your bangs, but when you reach the end, slightly curl under so they will blend into the curls.
9. When you're done hairspray everything and then you're done (:

How To Get The Cut & Color:
- Tell your hairdresser that you want sideswept bangs that fall just below your eye.
- Ask to get lots of layers but none that are too short.
- Ask that you want your hair dyed a color that's in between a dark brown and a light brown, with some subtle lighter highlights thrown in there.
